Great warm-weather bathrobe. The waffle fabric has some body, and the texture makes it stand off from your skin so it’s great for warmer weather. (I’d describe the fabric as medium-weight. Sturdy.) Super absorbent so great for out of the shower. Some reviews say the fabric is scratchy: that’s a function of the waffle weave. Don’t expect it to feel like a super-smooth rayon-spandex blend. I do expect it to soften some over time with washing, but I’m not banking on it. I don’t mind the texture. (I like bath towels made from this weave.)
I’m a tall woman (height and weight of average man) and the XL-XXL size works well for me, so I’d say the sizing runs smaller than other brands. The hem hits at mid-calf (exactly as I hoped), I roll the sleeves up a little (sleeve length is generous), and there is plenty of overlap in the front of the robe (but not excessive—it doesn’t go around me twice or anything close).
So, probably not for the big-and-talls out there but I’m very happy with it. Read the size chart carefully, and size up.

I’ve ordered him a second one to keep at our cabin. It’s lightweight, which he really likes as he’s always too hot in the terry cloth robes. The fabric is good quality, I have a waffle weave robe that is a very loose, poor quality knit, and was happy to see this is a dense, high quality weave. This is also a really excellent price point, especially for the quality. I highly recommend it.
