Why Turkish cotton?
Turkish cotton has extra-long fibers, so the yarn is smoother and stronger and the loops fray less over years of washing. Compared with Egyptian cotton, it holds a little less water per gram but dries much faster, which is why hotels and spas prefer it: a towel that stays fresh between uses. It is naturally soft without heavy chemical finishing, so what you feel on day one is the cotton itself.

- Wash before first use to remove loose fibers and open the loops.
- Machine wash warm with like colors; tumble dry low.
- Skip bleach and fabric softener; softener coats the fibers and reduces absorbency.
Questions we get asked
What does 550 GSM mean?
GSM is grams per square meter, the density of the terry. 300 to 400 GSM is a light, quick-dry towel; 500 to 600 GSM is hotel and spa weight. At 550 GSM, Elegance is plush in the hand and still easy to dry at home.
What is a ladder-stripe weave?
It is a ribbed terry: raised vertical stripes alternate with lower rows of loops along the whole towel. The ribs add texture and surface area, so the towel feels lively on the skin and dries quickly.
Will the towels shed lint?
A little lint in the first one or two washes is normal for any new terry towel. Long-staple Turkish cotton sheds far less than short-fiber cotton, and it settles quickly.
Can I return them if the color isn’t right?
