Why Turkish cotton?
Turkish cotton has extra-long fibers, so the yarn is smoother and stronger and the loops fray less over years of washing. Compared with Egyptian cotton, it holds a little less water per gram but dries much faster, which is why hotels and spas prefer it: a towel that stays fresh between uses. Care
- Wash before first use to remove loose fibers and open the loops.
- Machine wash warm with like colors; tumble dry low.
- Skip bleach and fabric softener — softener coats the fibers and reduces absorbency.
Questions we get asked
What does 550 GSM mean?
GSM is grams per square meter — the density of the terry. 300–400 GSM is a light, quick-dry towel; 500–600 GSM is hotel and spa weight: plush, absorbent and still practical to dry at home. Every Auraline piece is 550 GSM.
Will the color fade?
The auraline jacquard towels are yarn-dyed and the pattern is woven, not printed. Wash with like colors and avoid bleach and the color stays true wash after wash.
Can I return them if the color isn’t right?

Pros: soft and absorbent, they are a delight to dry off with. The design helps absorbency – beyond a plain towel. The color is attractive and so far no fading. Another nice feature is it comes with a loop already attached if you want to hang it that way.
Cons: wash it a few times before use (or you get little fuzzy balls) and a few stray threads – but after that trim, no more.
A tad pricey, but I found them worth it. I would buy again.
